    Born and raised in Cagayan de Oro City, Angelo Lorenzo finds inspiration as a writer through stories of hope in dark and uncertain times, as seen in his new play The Midnight Catch Up. However, it wasn’t until after pursuing a career in journalism that he became inspired to pursue his ambitions as a writer of fiction, and eventually, a playwright.  

    For this week’s episode, Anthony spoke with Angelo about his work as a journalist prior to working full-time as a freelance writer, how he went from writing short stories to writing plays, what inspired him to The Midnight Catch Up - scheduled to be presented at the Talking It Out Virtual Arts Festival this March, and more!
