May 5th: Paula Hounslea's Body Found (2012)
Sometimes it seems like police know who the killer is but don’t have enough evidence to bring forth charges. At least, not enough to ensure a conviction. On May 5th 2012 a woman disappeared and, though it seems like police have a good idea of who might be responsible, the only people arrested had to be let go without any charges.

Some true crime events are historical in nature due, in large part, to their connections with politics. Today’s story is one of those events. On May 4th 1970 an event took place during the height of war protests and cost 4 young students their lives.

On May 3rd 1961 a young woman was born who would, at the age of 25, suddenly disappear while in the company of a mystery man. A man who, police are certain, they have identified but have never been able to convict for her abduction and murder.
