Welcome to School of Rock - where you are kept up to date on ground breaking (pun absolutely intended) geology research. Hosted by a fellow grad student, we promise to bring you the nitty gritty, dirty details of the questions that my fellow geology grads dedicate 2 years (or maybe 7) of their life to answering. Welcome one and all to the long-anticipated, first-ever, debut of the School of Rock podcast! Hop in on a conversation over an ice cold brewski between myself and my good friend and fellow WWU graduate student colleague, Callie Little. Listen on as we chat about our unintentionally-online first year of graduate school, our experience with imposter syndrome in STEM, our vision for the future of geoscience policy and communication, topped off with a sprinkle of local Western Washington geology. I am working on the infant stages of my thesis proposal, which, at the moment demands much of my time, like a new born baby, and is hindering my ability to give a date for when the next one of these People's Choice Awards-worthy podcasts will be available.
