Why I Art Ryan Haack

After a hiatus, we're back! Here's an interview with Nicholas Winstead. Nicholas is a mold-maker, visual and make-up artist. Since he primarily works on monsters, we talked about the importance of horror and strange creatures.

In this episode, I interview illustrator, animator and comic book artist Milton Aguiar.

Milton is an artist who wears many hats. At just twenty-one, he is currently penciling, inking, coloring and lettering his own fifty-page comic book project Raptor. He is the founder of the comic book publishing company ImaginAction Comics. He is also an animator and designer.

In this episode of Why I Art, I interview Dave Griffith. Dave is a writer, educator and lecturer. He is the writer of A Good War Is Hard To Find: The Art of Violence in America. He was the Director of Creative Writing at Interlochen Arts Academy and Pennsylvania Governors' School for the Arts. He is now an Assistant Advising Professor at Notre Dame University.
