Friends make a pact to listen and discuss every album from the Robert Dimery book, 1001 Albums you must hear before you die. This isn't a show. It's a document. Each episode has a brief background , music clips, and is recorded in a basement tiki bar so we can make fun of ourselves in ten years.

Following along

Also attempting to listen to all 1001. This is great to listen to when I don't have access to the book. I enjoy most of the hosts.

Solange needs to go or stop rambling and monologue-ing so much. Everybody does it, but she almost always carries on much longer than necessary. Glad the other guys are verbally catching onto her over opinionated rants lol.

All in all. Positive plus plus.

Almost Perfect, but…

This is a throughly enjoyable podcast and is a good pairing with the book.

However, when ‘Solange’ is featured on the episodes, she really, really brings the episodes down. The guys have really good chemistry and are focused whereas she is loud, obnoxious and annoying; she goes off on annoying tangents and rambles about herself. When she is on, I almost want to skip…

Overall it’s a fun podcast that humanises the choices in the book
