Really good!
This show is good because there is commentary, although commentary is never absolute but it is a starting point for people wanting to learn rather than listen to some of the same type of music that has only minor differences. Very good show, I suppose we need more shows like this, more medievil music please. Talking more about what they are singing or interpreting is more fun because as much as they are from another world, it shows the depth of how much we all can be. Life is fun!
Incredible
Thank you
Very good
I have visual art studies so found it interesting how music can be classified under the same art history eras. Episode 6, the late 20th Century is particularly interesting to me, as the music starts to become a lot like contemporary art. Im not sure why the 20thC episodes are out of chronological order but I appreciated that,
as to be honest most other classical music sounds the same to my untrained ear. I’ll listen to the whole podcast again to see if I can start to pick the differences.
