Stephanne shares his story of going from bouncing at night clubs, to becoming an associate professor at Swinburne university.  His research looks at culturally and linguistically diverse young people and their involvement in the youth justice system.   He discusses his work at the Parkville youth justice centre, and some of the common threads and background stories of the inmates there. He is also involved with a number of organisations in Melbourne mentoring and guiding at-risk youth.  He also gives advice to any youth workers or groups on the best way to work with young people.
