    Where is the Love?

    Where is the Love?

The word L-O-V-E is used so regularly but do we really know the weight it carries? 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 16:14 Do everything in love. Proverbs 3:3-4 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us. 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

    A Heart of Contentment

    A Heart of Contentment

We live in a world where society would have us to believe that satisfaction comes from having things. My grandmother used to say “it’s okay to have stuff but don’t let the stuff have you.” What’s the REAL secret to peaceful satisfaction? Today’s episode is all about being content in every season of our life’s journey. Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Philippians 4:11 “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” I Timothy 6:6, Psalms 37:4, Proverbs 3:5
