As the ”Days of Noah” have arrived, we are to be ready for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. People are looking to the heavens in the form of solar or lunar eclipses but the message of the scripture is to reflect on Noah’s days and the days of Lot as he lived in the cities of the Plains. The cultural, moral, and spiritual conditions are identical! The Spirit assured as Abraham spoke with Jehovah - the righteous and unrighteous shall not be judged together. For the Christian, Christ’s second advent portends glory! For the remaining souls, certain judgment. Live ready. . .

We are in ”The Last Days”. This is not subject to debate. We have survived and are wrestling with residual effects of pandemics, societal anarchy, new sexual aberrations, the upsurge of ’New Age’ religious practices, unbounded immorality, biblical spiritual decline . . . Jesus, the Christ, was clear in his warning that ”as it was in the day of Noah, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man . . . until the day on which Noah entered the ark” (Mt. 24:37-39). Sudden judgement comes upon the careless or unaware because of the failure to see the ”signs of the times”. Christians are to live in readiness for that day. We embrace Christ’s warning of end-time prophetic events while seeking to maintain a closer walk with God in uncertain times.

The critical truth showing how God hears your voice, and mankind is blessed was given by Jesus, the Christ in Mathew’s Gospel, 17:14-21 and Mark 9:14-27. Prayer with fasting causes your voice to ”heard on high” and creates spiritual power and influence for the kingdom God, man’s good, and holiness in a pagan world. Prayer with fasting has long been neglected and relegated to Christian Mystics. Let your voice be heard in heaven’s throne and in the presence of the Living God!

”What do I gain if I pursue God with all I’ve got?” The greatest prize, gift, benefit, or outcome . . . is God Himself. In Christ is fulness of joy, grace for living, conquering challenges, or enduring trials. Added to that is the growing awareness of His presence in your life, and when all is said and done, added the joy of frequent and consistent answers to your petitions.

Is pleasing God an impossible task? It is written, ”. . . without faith, it is impossible to please Him (God) for he that comes to God must believe that He is . . .”. Pleasing God necessitates beginning with acknowledging that He exists, and awaits the evidence of a willing, obedient life. Finding pleasure in living in His will, for His pleasure is our highest calling

The exercise of faith is not distinct from developing an upright, holy character. Connection with God - the ability to ”touch the hand of God” in one’s life experience is predicated on having a character standing before God that is God-approved.
Apostle Peter wrote:
As he who has called, you is holy, be you also, holy in all your conduct; because it is written, “be holy, for I am holy

And if you invoke as father, him, who, without regard of persons, judges, according to the work of each, pass your time of Sojourn in fear.
