Happy Lent!! In this, our latest episode of the “Returning to the Heart of Jesus!” Podcast, our host Bill Wegner, along with co-host Brent Heiser, discusses the meaning and origin of Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season.  

From the beginning of the celebration of Lent in about 325, soon after the Council of Nicea, until present day, they explore the three tenets of fasting, prayer and almsgiving and how we live these out for the Lenten season and beyond!
