    Compromise

    Compromise

Right now there are many in the middle of the left and the right of society trauma. Even if we are in positions of duress and difference of opinion, it is important to hold respect for one another and find a compromise.

Some of us encounter compromise more than others, the reaction or response to this situation should come from a place of integrity more than fear or uncertainty.

The energy of feeling uncomfortable to be comfortable is foreign to many of us, however if we can continue to build resilience around compromise we can be better versions of ourselves.

Interview with Kobie Dee (Duncan) - The voice to tell the story of self- awareness

Interview with Kobie Dee (Duncan) - The voice to tell the story of self- awareness

Kobie Dee has managed to turn his life around through sheer tenacity and a self determination to do the inner work on himself. His why is no doubt a key contributor to how he became healthy and balanced in mind, body and spirit once again.

For a young First Nations man to carry a humble, grounded and positive voice for the youth and broader community alike is a true testament. Kobie is an artist in creating solid narratives of truth telling, along with being a doting young father to his daughter.

This yarn was valued greatly to have this young warrior in the space, listen out for his key touch points on doing the work, finding acceptance and connecting to his culture.

You can follow Kobie Dee @kobiedee47

Marathon 2 - It was more than a Marathon it was a Run for the Macro

Marathon 2 - It was more than a Marathon it was a Run for the Macro

Stepping out another 42.2km was an incredible process that I will long remember, throughout the chaos of the current times of the second lockdowns I got it done.

After a setback of what would have been my first official event, I got serious kick in the ass the day after I was supposed to run and nearly gave in altogether. But within a few days I was back grinding out the steps once again, to take on the milestone of what they call a marathon.

This whole running science and application to life has changed mine for the better.

Enjoy what it took, and how far I had to dig into the cookie jar to test my fortitude on all levels.

    Having Faith in the Process

    Having Faith in the Process

Having faith in the process Letting go and allow the process to just take place, something that is in most cases a lot easier said than done. Here is a deep dive into the micro of having faith in a process, this can be an application to anything in your life work, self healing or decision making.

When we are connected to something higher than us, we have to listen and abide by the universal truth laws of living. When we try to force, rush or make things happen they tend to not have the appropriate energy or perhaps leave something really important out of the equation.

I was prodded into accountability by 2 members of the BBTW tribe to record this episode. It was a really important reflection. Hope you can get something out of this. It is raw and inward, let's all take some autonomy in doing our best to have faith in the process.

    Season 1 Reflection

    Season 1 Reflection

Join in on a reflection of  the season that was, I really relished this podcast on so many levels. I found it healing to be able to get right into the act of service and giving back to the community.

I am joined by the two brothers that helped me kick start this journey Jamie Thomas (Episode 4 - Man in the arena) & Jack Bulman (Episode 6- Creating safe space) this was a great opportunity to hear their thoughts on the season, the key moments for them & also some thoughts on the year that was 2020.

An awesome way to cap off the season and put the cherry on top.

Remember to stay humble, look after each other & remember that today is the first day for the rest of your life! See ya soon, peace out!
