This is the ChampagneComedy.com podcast, and heading our channel tonight...
From 1992 to 1993, the ABC broadcast 40 episodes of The Late Show, consisting of Melbourne Revue graduates who got their first taste on TV as The D-Generation. Originally a low-rating comedy show that was live across Australia full of cheap jokes, cheap props and bad acting, the show gained a cult following and inspired many comedians and performers to help where they got to today. Also the fans. Definitely the fans.
The fan owned and operated site 'Champagne Comedy' has been online in some type of form since the early days of dial-up in 1996. Thanks to the evolution of the internet, 'Champagne Comedy' continues to pay tribute to the cast and crew of The Late Show, Frontline, The D-Generation and their other projects they create to make us all laugh.

    Bonus: Dillon Naylor

How hardcore of a Martin/Molloy fan are you?
As part of the podcast celebrating more episodes, downloads and you for sticking around, we convinced Martin/Molloy comic book artist Dillon Naylor to come on to talk about his exceptional artwork. Dillon gives us a behind-the-scenes on what it took to convince Tony and Mick to say "yes", as well as the time and effort it takes to put a comic together, as well as inspiration to transfer 'theatre of the mind' to paper.
If you are lucky to still have your three issues, dust them off, have a careful re-read and listen to our chat.
Check out Dillon's work via his site.

D Azmo ,

Champagne Nostalgia Joy!

Blah blah influence on life and comedy. Child of 90s. Amazing podcast. Likeable hosts, I just wish I’d seen more of the full episodes.

Some later episodes are more about their mates promoting their own shows, in-jokes and name-dropping, which is a bit of a cringe compared to how humble and affable the actual celebrities are. Worth it anyway. Get that cap!

I didn’t even know I needed this, but I do

Thank you

Still number 4.

Sizzletown and a Tony Martin interview sent me here.
I’m here to stay now.
Even SBS are knocking at your door.

Hasta la vista, little fat kid.
