Sorry Wil, you may have an inherent bias towards Hughesyeven with his toxic rhetoric, but it’s just not acceptable. He’s objectively just wrong and misinformed. Extremely out of touch millionaire claiming to be speaking for “the regular Aussie”, when he’s anything but. Greg Larsen put it perfectly, Dave Hughes pulls the ladder up and has no compassion or interest in newer comedians/talent. No different to the likes of Sonia Kruger, hogging all the TV jobs that younger talent never gets a chance at. The level of selfishness is at its peak for Hughesy. “He’s worked really hard” no longer has any weight considering he doesn’t remain grounded to that mentality. The lean to the far right has tarnished anything to do with Dave Hughes.
Objectively, Labor is not “the worst”. Liberal Nationals and One Nation are the worst. Labor is arguably neutral if anything, with The Greens being far better than all of them.
I love that when non-TOFOP podcasts like FOFOP, 2G1C, and Wilosophy started up, it was commonly requested to have separate podcast feeds (like for those who weren’t into the AFL stuff, or the ones who just wanted the AFL one)… And now they’re *back* into one feed. Truly is Nothing for Everyone! Has everyone relaxed now?
