    Host Dr Sam Manger chats to Dr Michelle Boyd, a general paediatrician based at the Queensland Children Hospital and CYMHS Greenslopes Eating Disorders Program. She currently leads the inpatient care of the eating disorders cohort at QCH and currently contributes to many local, state-wide and national eating disorders training and education forums.

    Dr Honey Heussler is a Developmental and Sleep paediatrician based at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. She works clinically, is the Medical Director of Child and Youth Community health services as well as having a strong research program.

    Today's guest, Dr Kathryn Fortnum is a Research Fellow at the Health and Wellbeing Centre for Research Innovation and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She has a particular interest in children and youth and mental health. Prior to moving to Brisbane to pursue research, Dr Fortnum worked clinically in inpatient and community settings for the Child and Adolescent Mental  
    Health Service WA, and supported children impacted by neurological disorders including spina bifida and cerebral palsy to engage in community-based physical programs.

She has worked in two tertiary paediatric weight management clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane. Her doctoral research explored approaches to weight management in children with neuromuscular conditions.

Kim is passionate about eating disorder treatment and service delivery and has specialised in child, adolescent and young adult eating disorder treatment and research, working across a range of treatment settings for over 15 years.
