All of our parents fled Iran after the 1978 Revolution to seek freedom in America- they were all Jewish Iranians facing religious persecution. Each immigrants story is unique in their own way. In our first ever podcast, we talked about how each immigrant has a different story to share. We decided to share our parents’ immigration stories. Each story is unique in their own way. All of our parents fled to America to seek safety because of the Revolution occurring - they were all Jews living in Iran, so they were facing religious persecution and hoped to have freedom in America.
