    Electronic Music Podcast 390 preface.

Welcome to the second electronic music podcast of 2021, where a new music selection awaits you to pleasure your ears and mind and groove your soul. If you missed last week’s episode you might want to check that out as it’s the first of many positive podcasts to come in 2021. Where I aim to make it together with you an awesome year, where we not only fight covid-19 in. But also make it a strong healthy year where we will enjoy a lot of good music. Find the first Dirty Disco podcast of 2021 here including a bunch of good music.

    Curated musical content.

Now that I have your attention, let’s see what you can expect in the second electronic music podcast of this year. Unlike last week’s episode where you’ll hear a lot of Disco house, this podcast episode is more mixed in sub-genres of the electronic music spectrum. Somewhere in the middle you’ll find that powerful Disco house groove again, delivered by DJ Ciderman, a.k.a Route 8, Marshall (UK) on the Valencian “theBasement Discos”.

In the beginning, end and between the Disco house tunes you will be able to hear a mixture of electronica, deep house, straight-up house music and a bit of breaks, beats and that 90’s trance rave vibe by Interplanetary Criminal and his Trance Tools, and Malugi with a huge amount of Energy.

    * 23 new tracks, once again curated, selected and mixed into a 2 hour mix session by me, which is also exclusively available as a “music only’ mix session here.* In the selection are tracks from the following 2 albums: 2020 Advent Calendar – Stamp The Wax. The Ultimate DJ Ciderman Collection – This Is Our Time. * 6 of the tracks in this week’s electronic music podcast are once again available on vinyl, through these online music stores.

    Dirty Disco 390 Playlist.

You are free to publish the playlist or even better this music blog on your social channels or websites for further recognition and support of Dirty Disco. Welcome To 2021, A Positive Strong Year Full Of Good Music | Dirty Disco 389

Introduction to a positive strong year ahead with good music in Dirty Disco.

After closing and escaping 2020 with the last episode here. We are welcoming 2021 as a positive strong year to come. Full of good music, health, happiness and motivation to get the best out of you.

However, a positive strong year doesn’t come on it’s own. For positivity to work it needs to be spreaded and shared by you and the people around you. Even though you might love them, you’ll need to ditch all negative things around you or at least start to see some positivity in it.

To help you make this a positive strong year ahead, I will try to inspire you every week in my podcasts with firstly good music and secondly with that motivation to inspire you to live a healthy, happy and positive 2021. If you are down with that, let’s get on with it and see which music I have selected for you in this very first podcast music show episode for 2021.

Electronic Music Selection With Commentary | Dirty Disco 387

Electronic Music Selection With Commentary | Dirty Disco 387

Introduction to this week’s music selection.

It’s amazing how much great music is being released in these pandemic times. It’s clearly hearable that producers and artists all around the world have much more time to produce and are in the safe comfort of their studios.

With that comes another challenge for me as a curator / DJ / Music selecter. Choosing between all those beautiful releases is sometimes so hard, since I just want to play all of them.

To give you an example, in the first phase of my weekly music selection process I curated 216 tracks. In the first selection all of these are very much liked by me and I’m pretty sure u will too. Somewhere around 25 tracks is what I finally end up with in every music show episode. Even if I created some exclusive mixes like the essential selections here I still wouldn’t be able to use all of these dope releases.

To make the music selection process a little bit easier for myself and more natural. I take the DJ and the listening pleasure approach. Where I let my emotions together with DJ experience and the harmony of the music do the work. This always results in a 2 hour mix session inspiring you with some of the greatest underrated music releases from the electronic music scene.

Contents of the Dirty Disco 387 music selection.

    * Out of 216, 27 tracks ended up in my final music selection for this episode. Among them are a variety of styles like: Deep House, Disco House, Future Electronica, Beats, Breaks ‘n Blips. * 4 albums are featured from: The Avalanches – We Will Always Love You, Texture Variations vol 1 on TXTR Recordings. 10 Years Of Pets Recordings, Akkan on Kartel Music where i play the World Electronica track Star Sitar from.* This week there are 5 promo releases.* 16 tracks are or will be available on vinyl (12”). Check the tracklist below for more info.* If you are looking for the full “music only mix selection” click the link to sign-up and support me.

That’s about it for this week. You can use the tracklist below to find your favorite music and support the artists. If you have any suggestions or want to get in touch for any other reason do not hesitate and click here.

New Electronic Music Commentary, Reviews & Mix Session | Dirty Disco 386

Introduction to this week’s music commentary.

Hi lovely people, once again welcome to a new week and new music Monday selection. And like usual filled with music commentary and reviews including a 2 hour full dj mix, which by the way is also available as a “DJ ONLY” mix version here on Mixcloud. (the music without the commentary).

    Mixcloud Live Continuous Music Stream.

Talking about Mixcloud, many of you already know about the “Select Membership” that supports me as a creator and directly the music that I play. A fair distribution system if you ask me, Even though the margin is very small. But next to Mixcloud Select, the audio platform also released it’s live (still in beta) streaming section where creators of any kind are able to livestream through.

To provide even a better Dirty Disco music experience I Installed a dedicated computer to run a Dirty Disco Mixcloud Live continuous music stream showcasing the most recent episodes of our weekly music commentary, reviews and mix show. A good place to go if you would like to have the Dirty Disco tunes playing constantly without ever having to think about playing the latest episodes. You can find the Livestream here.

    Contents of Dirty Disco 386.

With that all said, let’s get down to business and see which new music releases I curated for this week’s mix session as must-hear essentials.

    * 25 new tracks ranging in the styles: Deep House, Forward Thinking Electronica, Deep Dreamy Breaks & Beats. High Energy House Music Breaks and a little bit of techno with that characteristic deep Detroit synth stab.* There are 7 new music albums on labels: Batavia Records, Omena Records, Ahead Of Our Time, Pont Neuf, Running Back and Shall Not Fade.* 8 Forthcoming promo releases (on the time of writing this) from artist: Aleksandir with his debut album on Omena, Tsile, Soulfreqtion Ft Kimi, Pushguy on the Batavia Treasure’s vol 4 compilation and Tour-Maubourg with his new album on Pont Neuf Records.* 11 tracks available on vinyl from: Aleksandir, KiNK, Tour-Maubourg, Gabriel Rei, Swales, Bella Boo and her new EP and a track coming from the newest album by Byron The Aquarius on Shall Not Fade Records.

    Music Service Survey.

In addition to the weekly free download or as a replacement I’m currently investigating the interest in a curated music service based on a recurring membership. I really would like to know your thoughts on this and would appreciate your help by filling in this music service survey here: https://us3.list-manage.com/survey?u=8ddc46ab6965afa18772e8868&id=20ebd2dd01

Would You Like To See All My Thoughts & Deep Feelings Missing You In Buenos Aires | Dirty Disco 385

Would You Like To See All My Thoughts & Deep Feelings Missing You In Buenos Aires | Dirty Disco 385

A new episode with a title that may yet again confuse you, so let me explain. As mentioned in these previous music episodes 383 and 384 right here. This week’s music blog title refers once again to the names of the EP’s, albums and tracks featured in the music playlist selection in Dirty Disco 385.

Would You Like To See All My Thoughts & Deep Feelings, Missing You In Buenos Aires.

In terms of how to title each weekly music episode I tried a lot of things to make every episode more search and findable online. It makes sense and sounds like a logic thing to do to simply use the brand name with the episode number. But i found that search engines don’t support you too much when you do so. Since my episodes and supporting blogs here on the website are never about just one subject it’s hard to focus on that and making up a fitting blog title is hard.

    A new title approach.

Therefore I’m trying this new approach of using several track, EP and album names in the title in a way it still makes sense and somehow even contributes to the overall feeling that comes with it.

To make you a bit more understand here comes the detailed analysis of this week’s music blog title: Would You Like To See All My Thoughts & Deep Feelings Missing You In Buenos Aires.

Would You Like To See, refers to the new collaborating EP on frequently showcased music label: Shall Not Fade Records. And is produced by often played DJ’s and producers Ruff Stuff and Black Loops.

Then the second part: All My Thoughts, refers to the first All My Thoughts Vol 001 various artists compilation that carries the same name as the label: All My Thoughts itself which is the label from Seb Wildblood.

Deep Feeling is taken from the new EP by Monstergetdown – Deep Feeling EP on Understated Recordings and which is a sort of debut into Deep House by Monstergetdown who is more known for his progressive electro sound on Mau5trap. The label is run by the legendary Deadmau5 (deadmouse).

Missing You, is on it’s own pointing towards the new EP by Pandar & Harry Oscillate on Rhythm Department Records, where i’m featuring the dope track: Time To Bump from.

Last but not least there is: ‘Buenos Aires‘ which is the latest outing on the Valencian based and often supported label: theBasement Discos. The German duo Decent Rides released their Buenos Aires EP on the label where I’m playing the track: Random Kindness from.

Even though I used many new releases in this week’s music blog title there is so much more coming at you in this week’s music show. Before we look at all of the contents I want to present to you.

Spherephonic, with an exclusive Dirty Disco guestmix.

Yes, that’s right! Our big Belgian friend Steph Couvreur a.k.a. DJ and producer Spherephonic is back again with another exclusive mix selection for Dirty Disco. This is not the first time he joined our mix sessions and is a very welcome guest here in the show. More...
