Orinthal Redux #15: Clearly, You Have Done Much

Orinthal Redux #15: Clearly, You Have Done Much

The party faces the consequences of their actions over the past few days as they are brought before the King of Orinthal! Stay tuned for after the episode for the epilogue for each of the characters as they discuss what they would like to do following the events of the campaign.
Welcome to Orinthal Redux! We are re-releasing our original short series, Orinthal, with new editing and music. Three years ago, we started our podcast with this actual play with no idea of where it would lead. Taking place over a hundred years before our current actual play adventures, our characters in Orinthal looked for clues and hunted for a secret foe who instigated devious plots within the city.
For those who have listened to the original release, we hope you will enjoy this fresh take on the story. Starting from when our heroes meet, our editor Adam has cleaned up the audio and we have added music to enhance the mystery and action. If you want to hear the original character introductions, those are still available on our podcast feed. You can also read our character backstories on our website.

    Rules: Mystics Part 2

    Rules: Mystics Part 2

Are you a fan of mysterious mental powers? If so, you might be interested in playing a mystic in DnD 5e. But what happened to the mystic class from previous editions? We are joined by Jacky, Death by Mage, to continue to discuss what happened with the Unearthed Arcana playtest for the class, why we wanted to see more, and some ideas he had for how to build a mystic in 5e.
    Death by Mage
Our friend, Jacky, better known as Death by Mage, works hard to help Game Masters, Dungeon Masters, and Storytellers improve their craft. Not only is Jacky incredibly talented, but he is also a kind, generous person that we are lucky to have the chance to know.

Check his recent work on Unbreakable, a platform for Asian voices from across the globe to tell their stories through tabletop roleplaying games! You can find him basically everywhere as Death by Mage.

Easy listening, cohesive world

I’ve been listening to, and playing DnD for a few years now and love this podcast. The story is intriguing, the gameplay is smooth and very easy to follow, without being dumbed down, and the production is incredible.

The world is very cohesive, and the progression so far has felt really natural.

I hope this picks up some more momentum, I hope the journey continues as I’m hooked now and need to see this world inside-out!
