Customer Reviews
Interesting story but the narrator could have been cut
The story is great, however I feel the narrator is not necessary in instances especially when she says blah blah felt they were sad and then it’s cuts to an excerpt of that person literally saying what the narrator just said. Like why?
Also the narrator using a continued “fake reporter” voice and adding tone to the wrong part of a sentence was really off putting. It was like she didn’t know what she was saying or understand what she was talking about, just mimicking something she had heard. I liked everything else about this podcast but considering the quality of Casefile narration I expected far better.
Disappointing
This could have been a great podcast if it was narrated by an actual feeling living thinking human and not AI… I’ve never been so frustrated listening to a podcast. Wanted to learn about the story, but I’ve unsubscribed and stopped because I can’t stand the way it’s being read/produced.
Wondery - a rare miss
This just goes on and on with no real substance. Pointless cut always and stories that don’t add anything to a story which your left knowing as little at the start as you do at the end.
The narrators voice / way she draws out every vowel is something I prefer not to listen to.
