What is your go-to after a hard day? Cookies? Chocolate? Ice-cream?... either way it is something sweet, right? Well, you're not alone. It is very much a human thing to move towards some type of substance that suppresses or eliminates our negative experience and whilst heroine is a little extreme for most people, sugar often serves the function enough for us to be able to completely check out of the uncomfortable feelings that we're trying to avoid feeling.
