Lukas Williams grew up in a world full of trouble; his father accidentally ran over his mother with a car, he fell into dealing drugs, then got addicted and began carrying out armed robberies. His teenage years were spent in and out of boys homes, followed by a decade in and out of prison. Looking back, he says he’d been hurt and wanted to hurt others. It was a way of life he had to break free from.

If that is what you are after then look no further, each episode is filled with raw emotion, empathy with a perfectly balanced humour in light of such traumatic experiences. After listening to this podcast since the beginning, Gary’s journey as an ex cop seeking answers for what make people bad has helped me, a regular, law abiding, childhood trauma victim to feel inspired to be better, to be more understanding and less angry in my own journey.
