Jacqueline Hardy was the Engineering Manager of Brisbane success story Clipchamp. And then... in September 2021, Clipchamp were acquired by Microsoft (have ya heard of them?). Now, Jacquie is the Senior Software Engineering Manager for Clipchamp as part of the massive ecosystem (with over 200,000 employees) that is Microsoft.
So what happens when your workplace is acquired by one of the biggest companies in the world? What impact does this have on your team, your tech stack and the way you contribute to the product?
Jacquie was there for the whole acquisition ride and this week, she sits down with Carly and Emily for her very own episode of What's The Stack.
