We all now we should pray. Most of us even know how to pray, but do we know why we pray?

We know that God's will will be done no matter what, but somewhere in all that we know we have a choice too. What is this tension and how does it affect how we live now?

Freedom, commitment, and community, three seemingly independent states of being we all experience. What do these three conditions have in common? Why do we need all three? And even though they are independent of each other, they may have more to do with each other than we realize.

Love is eternal. It should be pure, undefiled, perfect. But more often than not we see a love that looks less than perfect and a whole lot more savage.
