Natasha and Jeremy Fleming from ISOKING talks about his epic pivot at the commencement of COVID and how it saved his business and helped others along the way Employees Matter

    • Business

Jeremy Fleming is the Managing Director of Stagekings, the company responsible for some of the most well-known temporary event structures of the past 6 years. Since Friday 13th March 2020 and the shutdown of the event industry, Jeremy has been navigating Stagekings through the most difficult time the event industry has ever experienced. Facing the prospect of losing everything, he saw a chink in the supply chain and pivoted Stagekings to manufacture work from home office furniture. This has evolved into its own brand ISOKING, selling more than 30,000 items with now 70 different products in the range.

They talk about
* How Jeremy ended up where he is today with Stage Kings
* What does he love about he does
* Stage Kings has a husband and wife team at the helm, how does this work?
* What happened to Jeremy's industry and business after Scott Morrisons announcement on 13 March 2020
* What planning and actions were undertaken at the start of the COVID crisis
* The big pivot - the idea that launched ISOKING, and how long did it take to get their first sale
* How the new venture employed people from across the industry, not just from Jeremy's business
* ISOKING's charitable giving to industry charity, Support Act
* The biggest thing that Jeremy has learned from COVID and taking the business in a new direction - timing is everything

And much more
