Mostly well written and presented

Some repetition throughout the series; clearly there was no material progress in the core of the earlier episodes.
Agree that the disappearance of Peter Lavac from the podcast is mysterious and perhaps a bit troubling? He does have a ‘creepy’ manner about him so I wonder…?
Finally - the word “photos” does not have an apostrophe (“photo’s”) in it! Seriously, you are journalists and should know better. If anyone reading this doesn’t understand why “photo’s” is incorrect then I’m afraid you’re poorly educated. It matters because it’s incorrect and makes the writer lose credibility.

Going Nowhere

Lots of going nowhere in this podcast. I’ve listened to a lot of crime podcasts and this one has sensational headlines with no substance and no real leads. I feel for the family losing their child. But I think they are clutching at straws by thinking it was foul play. At the beginning of the podcast they talked about how strong Eddy was and how she could do 100 pushups and climb trees. But turn around and say there was no way she could hang herself? Come on! Fancy cremating Eddy’s phone which could have held vital evidence? Then blame police for not asking for it? Are you serious? I think the parents saying to their child “suicide is not an option” was THE worst thing you could say to a child who was clearly troubled. You just shut that kid down and dismissed her feelings. Time to accept she’s gone, time for the parents to step up and take responsibility for their role in this. This podcast goes round in circles. I will continue to no listen to see if anything actually changes but I very much doubt it.

Caring Listener

I can not believe how much you’ve had to go through to fight for your daughters rights, I feel so much for each or you … in a time you should’ve been able to celebrate your daughters life, and going through the grieving stage as a family… and yet the person whose done this to your family is running free or under ground.
I have listened to a few podcasts where young females have been killed and the police have treated like a suicide, I just don’t understand the system that is failing these beautiful young lives.
How do people get away with pedophilia? When its no different to murder in my eyes, They both take lives … the kids they groom and take full advantage of don’t get to go back to how they were before the first time it happens… once the damage is done there’s no going back, so why aren’t the laws harder and taken more seriously on this matter.
And why aren’t the police held accountable for not doing their jobs, that’s what they swear in by the colonised law to do… their job and to yo hold the law. People who steel money get treated worse.
Sorry for going on, I really wanted the family to know that I care, ever since hearing this podcast a day hasn’t gone by that I haven’t thought of each of you. I hope you get justice for your baby girl, sister, grandaughter, niece.
Heartfelt thoughts everyday
