Season 7 - fractured

Once again Melanie Reid doesn’t fail to please. Frank & hard-hitting w- her questioning but always respectful / mindful of the victim, guests & interviewees. An open and honest discussion on ‘shaken baby syndrome’ has been long overdue & so glad/trusting that Reid took this on. It has been thorough & comprehensive thus far- the only aspect missing - is to speak w- police & prosecutors who have apprehended patents / guardians for this crime in the past - to learn if, how they would approach it today, given everything we now know- thank you - Melanie & team for another brilliant podcast / story.
Interesting topics but slower than a snail with COPD

Season 1: I discontinued half way through because it was frustratingly slow & I couldn’t guarantee it would get anywhere before I felt the urge to throw my phone at a wall. Seasons 2 & 3: Didn’t listen because of my views on S1. Seasons 4 & 7: Listened to all and still listening. It’s still frustratingly slow but I’m hanging in there because of my medico-legal interest. Interesting case but could do with a bit more impartiality perhaps. Season 5: Discontinued listening at about episode 7 or 8. It desperately wanted there to be a scandal but it’s just not that scandalous. Season 6: Didn’t listen because I already know the Ellis case & I don’t need to listen to anything else to remind me of the heartbreaking injustice dealt to him.
