Can’t beat pee wee

Pee wee gaskins is by far one of the most interesting and unbelievable of all serial killers. So very rare to have so many different methods and to be such a small man an intimidate all even in prison is unreal.
Mr Jim and his sweet simple wife Anita. I really liked these two to start.. there southern charms and endearing nature was good for a while.
But by god the more you get to know about how they work and believe it was an absolute disaster waiting to happen.
There faith absolutely blinds them… seriously he wanted to write a book about redemption and let’s be honest salvation of one of history great murderers. As a couple they are far more appropriate to be living in the 1800’s with there naive views. Mr Jim is a doctor with a phd but was stupid enough to smuggle in what he needed to murder his last victim. Which is absolutely incredible. A carnie outsmarted a doctor. And he is a serial killer not a mass murderer in any definition. And to expose your children to pee wee gaskins is just simply stupid. Like it’s great they took in the kid but even Anita was stupid to send him back that night in the first place. All faith and no sense. South Carolina news after execution even showed how Mr Jim and Anita didn’t quiete understand the world they lived in. Academic southern church folk shocked about the lower classes that surrounded them all there lives. I doubt I would read his book like who on earth would get a Christian writer to biograph one of the worlds all time psychos just does not make sense anywhere but to some South Carolinians. Still intersting podcast tho

Great story over produced

Stick to the story telling. Very repetitive- over production ruins the actual story. A pity because this story had a lot to tell and it wasn’t done justice.

Too many adds, over done dramatisation

This podcast seems to have more advertisements than story. It’s so much it’s hard to listen to! I’m not opposed to adds to keep the content free but it’s over the top.

The storytelling is just so over dramatised. It’s hard to follow because they jump through all different parts of the story. It is repetitive. It also gets hard to follow due to ad frequency
