Priyanka Saha ~ Sharing hope through honouring Lily Lemonade

    • Society & Culture

At Priyanka Saha’s 36 week scan, doctors discovered an abnormality in the brain development of her and her husband Will’s unborn daughter.
Lily was diagnosed with an incurable and terminal brain condition called Miller Dieker Syndrome - she spent 10 and a half meaningful and loving months with her parents before she took her final breath. That was five years ago.
In the time since, Priyanka and Will have established the Lily Calvert Foundation to support children with terminal illnesses.
They’ve also launched The Murmuring of Ten Million - which features first hand accounts of pregnancy and infant loss.
I assure you, despite the heavy subject matter, Priyanka speaks with such positivity, her resilience is so inspiring, no matter what you are experiencing right now, I trust you’ll finish the episode feeling like the world is a better place with people like Priyanka in it.
Now, just a note, there were a few technical glitches thanks to the joys of recording online through lockdown.
*Trigger warning - this episode discusses infant loss. 24 hour help is available through SANDS on 1300 072 637 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.*
