6. Alice Caporn – Town Hall address, 1939. Part 2
The Perth press call Alice’s views on milling flour with its wheatgerm, rather than extracting it for livestock consumption, as “American hooey”. Alice took to the stage of Perth’s Town Hall in June, 1939, to protest at what she described as a serious civil rights issue – the ‘adulteration’ of food.

6. Alice Caporn – The Nudist Naturopath. Part 1
Alice Caporn, PhD, born 1875, was an Australian nurse who settled in Boston, USA, in 1919, and became a leader of what was termed the ‘modern health sciences’ movement. A passionate advocate of sunshine therapy and nudism, she trained as a naturopath and osteopath in the US.

2. Judy Jacka OAM – A life’s work
Judy Jacka is a pioneering figure in Naturopathy in Australia. Judy was still practising as a naturopath and energy healer at the age of 80, at the time of this interview, and recalls how the Theosophical movement and teachings of Alice Bailey helped shape her practice. Sadly, Judy passed away in March 2022.
