A lot of Potential
I am glad I listened all the way through and heard the most recent update with the host’s take on their reasoning for short episodes, and I do understand that the main objective is to get the information out there as quickly as possible, however the eps are extremely short, and it was hard to sink your teeth into it because it felt like there wasn’t enough in-depth info in each one. It’s important to set the scene and go into all of the minuscule details like other podcasters, because it may be that one tiny detail that triggers someone’s memory about something. Also, the intro’s were extremely long, and at times took up almost half of the episode.. What I DID love about it though is that the hosts manner/voice are so easy to listen to and connect with, and I was definitely kept intrigued and wanting more. I’m so looking forward to hearing more from you guys!
Meh
Unless you’re familiar with the cases, this podcast can be difficult to follow. The episodes are so short and there is barely any content by the time the intro and outro occur. Describe to me what happened and set the scene before interview randoms who constantly say “this is speculation”.
You say you’re not an investigator or journalist - well be a story teller then. Listening to phones ringing isn’t interesting. I am 9 episodes in and barely know anything about these crimes.
Given 3 stars because I find the topic interesting but seriously hoping there will be some actual content soon.
I’m liking it buuuttttt
There is way too much suspense music, too much build up and not enough content. It is taking waaayyyy too long to tell the story. Otherwise it is an interesting topic.
