Bonus Episode 9 - UNHINGED with Nia D’Emilio (Patreon Preview)
Hello Friends!
On this episode of Unhinged, we review, well, everything. Nia and special guest Trevor Hodge, mastermind behind sunshine surf pop band The Burkharts, talk Beach Boys songs, albums, and events in a rousing game of "This or That." Listen for the hottest takes on Wild Honey, a lot of praise for Sir Paul McCartney, an impossible choice between two infamous recording sessions, and a tease for a project that Nia and Trevor will work on within the next six years. And listen to The Burkharts if you haven't yet! Nia thinks their latest single "Valley Girl" is great!

So so damn good
Love this! Outlet for all my Beach Boys nerding out, love the show and it’s so well edited and the additional music is great! Thankyou!!!
The best Beach Boys Podcast
Detailed, nerdy, insightful. It leaves nothing out and is so well researched you often wonder how anyone can be so thorough. I’ve followed The Beach Boys for 40 years but every time a new podcast arrives I know I’ll get some more great info as well as interesting opinions on the music.
Essential Listening
Not only is Sail On the best Beach Boys podcast out there, it's one of the best podcasts period.
Whether you are a new or old, hardcore or general Beach Boys fan, or even if you just have an interest in popular music from the 60s through to now, Sail On is worth checking out. Wyatt and Jason know their stuff (and not just about the Beach Boys), and they are engaging, informative, and have fun in the process. You can really tell that it is a labour of love.
Also, unlike many other podcasts, Sail On includes lots of audio - songs, interviews, concerts, etc. - of both well-known and rare material (and again, not always Beach Boys).
In a nutshell, whether you're a fan of the early surf and hot rod tracks, the Pet Sounds and Smile era, or even later albums like MIU and Beach Boys '85 (Wyatt and Jason draw the line at Summer In Paradise!), then Sail On is for you. Check it out - you won't be disappointed.
