Oasis Pt. 1: Hooliganism, Hedonism, Rock Star Anthems and the “Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Band on the Planet"
Few bands have come from as little and made as much of themselves as Oasis. Along the way they were wildly entertaining — unlike anything England or the United States had ever seen — and fully committed to the life of the rock star and to making the greatest rock ‘n’ roll music the world had ever heard. Through it all they famously fought, with fans, with police and with each other. They drank excessively and did copious amounts of drugs and didn’t care who knew about it. They were England’s new rock ‘n’ roll saviors and they were stacked with Beatlesesque hooks and Sex Pistols-inspired attitude and seemingly always on the verge of breaking up.
This is Part One of a two-part Disgraceland episode on Oasis. To listen to all episodes of Disgraceland, follow @disgracelandpod on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Show notes available at disgracelandpod.com.

The Beatles Pt. 1: Stoned with Dylan, Dosed with Acid, Outrunning Knife Wielding Maniacs and Driving the World to the Brink with Beatlemania
This is Part 1 of a two-part Disgraceland episode on The Beatles. To hear Part 2 now, for free, visit amazon.com/disgraceland.
The Beatles caused fans to enter into manic states, literally. People died because of it. The band swallowed more pills than food in their early years. They took acid by accident and changed the course of popular music forever as a result. Aside from all the screaming fans and the drugs, beating at the heart of Beatlemania was always just “a great little band.” Listen to learn how the Beatles saved America from certain doom with some of the most exciting music ever made.

This is Part 1 of a two-part Disgraceland episode on Tupac Shakur. To hear Part 2 now, for free, visit amazon.com/disgraceland.
Tupac Shakur was many things. He was a supremely talented MC and was wildly charismatic in front of the camera. He was also violent, angry and completely unable to keep himself out of trouble. Part one of his story traces his rise through the radical influence of his Black Panther lineage, the deadly violence that seemed to follow him wherever he went and the inevitably of both prison and superstardom.

Love Disgraceland and 27 Club podcasts. Great telling of the stories. Only problem is I am unable to listen to your latest ones on Amazon App here in Australia, would love to hear the Part 2 of the Beatles. Not sure why App doesn't work " Down Under". I'm sure you have plenty of listeners here that are missing out hearing these latest episodes. Please return these episodes to Apple Podcasts so your fans not in the U.S can hear them
An amazing podcast I have loved every single episode it is very addictive listening I have spread the word about the content to anyone and everyone but now I am so disappointed that I can’t find any media platform to continue listening 😔😔
Such a shame
I loved this podcast. I loved it so much I purchased the book too.
Now no matter how many times I’ve downloaded Amazon music etc. I can’t get it. Obviously for whatever reason it doesn’t play in Australia any more. I’ll be unsubscribing because it’s so frustrating to see all the teasers of the episodes and not be able to listen to them. Jake why did you abandon us!!
