She draws these modalities together with psychology to help people build a healthy movement habit and is one of the top UK experts on self-care.
Suzy is on the editorial board for Motherdom magazine, the Psychology Expert for wellbeing brand Neom Organics and is a founding member of the "Nourish" app.
She figure-skated her way through her childhood, growing up on the northern beaches of Sydney, and now makes her home in the hills of Hertfordshire, UK.
She is the author of The Self-care Revolution, Stand Tall Like a Mountain, The Little Book of Self-Care and Self-Care for Tough Times, all published by Aster.
Her first children's book This Book Will (Help) Make You Happy was published in 2021 by Wren & Rook.
Her latest book is: Sit to Get Fit, Featuring a practical 28 day plan to transform your relationship with sitting, how long you sit at a time, how to add simple breath work and movement into your day and restorative moves for the end of your day.
We live increasingly sedentary lives and our lifestyle has radically changed in terms of how we work and naturally move throughout our day.
While we all know about the benefits of exercise for mental and physical health, what we're not so attuned to are the damaging effects of just how we sit at our desks, scrolling on our pones, in the car or even on our bicycles.
