Talk City Greensboro sits down with Dr. Olu Jegede from Cone Health as we discuss CATCH 5 in 5 (Collaborative Action Towards Community Health) a program designed to close the life expectancy gap by 5 years in 5 years for East Greensboro and other areas. The Talk City Greensboro crew has a discussion with John Serrano of the McGirt-Horton Library as they embark on the continuation of the "Summer Speaker Series. The series will begin at 3pm on Wednesday, June 12th with Charlotte Librarian Danielle Prichett who's well known in Greensboro for her work and has conducted widespread studies in the field Genealogy. Danielle will speak on the NC Bastardy Bonds: historical documents revealing paternity and societal attitudes towards unwed mothers and their children.

Talk City Greensboro opens the microphones with representatives of the Triad Black Farmers Market. Dr. Caldwell, Ms. Lolitta Watkins and Nyla Muhammad speak from personal experiences, historical data, and explain the need for fresh produce in area communities dealing with food scarcity.

Talk City Greensboro sits down with newly appointed Carolina Cobras Head coach Brandon Negron. Coach Negron gives valuable insights of the National Arena League and the forward expansion of the Carolina Cobras program within the city of Greensboro.
