Very well made!!!
This was so well made on all fronts - the perfect mix of interviews and story-telling. It really showcased the blatant sexism, racism and homophobia that both suspects and victims faced during this investigation. That only thing that could have made it better would be if there had been a resolution or even some sort of conclusion reached!
DNA isn’t a perfect science
Great podcast.
One thing that stands out to me is that even though the found Lamb’s DNA on door #3; this does not prove he was the one who killed Shelli.
Science has proven over and over again how our DNA can end up in all sorts of places all the time - leading to many wrong convictions that are based solely on DNA evidence.
The police screwed up the initial investigation, period. I think that if Lamb is convicted based on the current evidence; he’ll just be another fall guy for the sake of closure. It might have to be one of those cases that either doesn’t get resolved or has to wait for further information to come to light.
