Customer Reviews
General review of the podcast
From a political and society perspective I have found this podcast to be a terrific and sometimes challenging listen. Terrific because of the topics abs diversity of guests and challenging because of the topics which have made me rethink some of my understandings based on my ‘non-white’ male perspective of the world around me.
By far the biggest challenge has been the ongoing whispering of one of the regulars that requires a constant adjustment of the volume. I now generally ignore most of what this person says because it’s seems he does not want to be heard. I’m sure he has great comments /ideas, and perhaps the producers can bring up his volume!
Otherwise a great show - thanks for the effort and the opportunity for insights to the ideas you share.
Non-woke authoritarian lefties
This once-innovative Aussie podcast has lost its mojo. Trevor has run out of ideas and is down to regurgitating Guardian talking points and whatever he reads on the John Menadue blog (plus the occasional limp challenge to woke ideology). The co-host / “tech guy” mostly offers dull sycophancy. If only they had the chemistry of the early days or were as important, informed and intelligent as they seem to think. This one is beyond repair, I’m afraid. Time to retire it: it’s only of interest to the cat ladies now.
