In science we are taught how to become competent researchers. If you are talented and lucky enough to build a strong research profile, you become a leader in your field. This does not, however, automatically make you leader of people and yet so many roles that use science require real leadership. This podcast aims to understand what qualities and experiences make a great leader in different fields of science. What are the differences between those that fall into the role, versus those who were made for it?

Insightful content for any academic or aspiring leader

This is a great example of a podcast that addresses a major issue within academia and even other fields, what makes a good leader. This is a sore point in science as there is very little training available and not many people talk address it. There is no one answer for what makes a good leader, but I think Simona's podcast does the next best thing and asks proven scientific leaders what makes them tick and how they lead.
