Vox Lux ,

This is not a review, more a rhetorical question.

Just heard - again - that Hitler, after stopping smoking and drinking alcohol, became a vegetarian and based his newly adopted diet, which he later ordered his soldiers to adhere to as well, on: grains, fresh, locally grown pesticide-free vegetables, some of those eaten cooked, some raw, the use of butter was not permitted, only olive oil. Eating to excess was badly regarded and the use of meat not recommended.

Hitler promoted Germany’s self-sufficiency. He was very keen on the health, wellbeing and recuperation powers of his soldiers, who were undoubtedly strong and good fighters, even though - as we know - they eventually lost the war.

I’m not concerned with the loss, but I am concerned with the fact that perhaps, much more important than health and immunity is consciousness, i.e. having the awareness, the insight and ability to not just blindly follow orders, but to direct one’s physical prowess that is gained from a wholesome, nutritional diet to humanitarian and ‘just causes’ or to a service that can benefit humanity rather than destroy it.

There is no discrepancy whatsoever with
anything you say on the podcast, I’d just like to accentuate consciousness more strongly than purely focussing on a healthy diet.
Hitler and the Nazis ate a rather healthy diet (he became an addict later) but what about his level of consciousness?

So, would it be fair to ask that diet represents maybe 10% of the whole? Even though yes, it’s the foundation for a healthy body/mind and we all have to eat (and chew), I agree!
But the other 90% would have to be consciousness, a connection to the divine, an openness to spirit or whatever one wants to call it and positive, affirmative service.

🙏 Imagine if people take their wellness to a whole new level and in doing so remove blockers, remove pain, create real deep health and well-being for themselves and so open their heart to joy and grace and forgiveness and operate at a much higher level of consciousness. And the reward is to become so much more productive in all aspects of their lives.
