Susan Mullen - The Soul Messenger

Susan Mullen - The Soul Messenger

Welcome to the next episode of the Untangling podcast series. Today I am thrilled to share an interview with a beautiful soul, who although we haven’t met in person yet, I consider as a valued connection in my life, and her name is Susan Mullen.

There is something very special about Susan, and that is her ability to connect intuitively with people and animals alike. Her clairvoyant abilities are rooted in her interpretations in her sessions with both people and animals. Inherited from her father, who was both a psychic and a medium, her wide-open field enhances and serves intuitive soul sessions with people and animals. People who perhaps want to know more about their own paths but also who want to connect with their beloved animals, whether they are here in the earthly realm or have transcended. We all love our animals, and I have personally worked with Susan for assistance with my own animal companions.

Susan is also a strong advocate for animal rights and as a result has transitioned into a plant-based and vegan lifestyle, which she also feels pulled to share with those drawn to that way of life by way of a step-by-step program to assist in every facet of this lifestyle.

Fun fact! Beneath the desk both of us were wearing our PJ pants!

Episode 11 - Anita Carr - Enabler of Joy

Episode 11 - Anita Carr - Enabler of Joy

Welcome to the next episode of The Untangling Podcast.

Today I had the great pleasure of speaking with Anita Carr, a fellow author and participant in a wonderful writing project we are both involved in called Unity. Unity is a collaboration of writing by 11 female authors, who share topics relevant to us all and by sharing, demonstrate how we are all connected. It has been a passion project and curated by my wonderful publisher, the amazing Natasha Gilmour of The Kind Press.

My guest today Anita, is a passionate writer, speaker, advocate and Mum to three precious children.

She was diagnosed with ADHD and separated from her husband in 2020/2021. These two life-changing events inspired Anita to start rediscovering who she was, and as she said embrace all of the beautiful and messy parts of herself.

She slowly found her voice and started sharing her story in the hope of helping others, especially women, who may be going through similar situations, not wanting them to feel alone.

Anita and I talk about the feelings that one may experience when we make a choice like ending a long-term relationship, such as guilt, shame, failure and also the judgement that comes along with it all.

Join us as we talk honestly and openly about the traits of being a female that may bring us to these key points in our lives, possibly as a result of being ‘the good girl’, ‘the people pleaser’ and maybe feeling as though we don’t fit in.

    This is Anita’s story.

Episode 10 - Rebekah - The Anxiety Whisperer

Episode 10 - Rebekah - The Anxiety Whisperer

This episode I had the great pleasure of speaking with a fellow RTT or Rapid Transformational Therapist, the delightful Rebekah Ryan. I really wanted to chat with Rebekah, as I know that the topic of anxiety is a massive one with many people, men and women alike.

Rebekah works a great deal of her time, particularly with clients suffering with stress and anxiety. If you have never suffered anxiety, then let me say from my own personal experience, that you are very lucky. It can really overtake your life.

As Rebekah also knows from her own personal experience, anxiety can cause many flow-on effects including but not limited to overthinking, catastrophisation, loss of confidence and self-esteem and can affect all areas of our lives, work, family and personal relationships, and most of all our relationship with and view of self.

Rebekah’s process of assisting her clients includes helping them to resolve inner turmoil and ignite resilience, confidence, positivity and self-trust, in order to master their mindset and unlock potential for their personal, relationship and business success.

As you will hear from this interview, Rebekah is a gentle and caring person and can empathise greatly with what her clients are experiencing. Isn’t that what you want when you are going through something like this? From the time I have spent with Rebekah since I met her, I would definitely describe her as a ‘soft place to fall’, but that doesn’t mean she will fix your problems for you, instead she will walk alongside you as you work through it together, because that is truly where the freedom lies …

Please share this podcast with anyone who you think might benefit. It is powerful, important and I just know that it could also change someone else’s life.

If you would like to know more about Rebekah listed below are the ways you can connect with her:

Or if you or someone you know are pulled to experience their own Untangling, I am now taking on clients to walk this journey alongside. Together we will discover the beliefs and situations that no longer serve us allowing freedom and joy to replace them. Speaking from experience - it is a life-changing process! Episode 9 - Michael - the Awoken Man

Episode 9 - Michael - the Awoken Man

I think this interview is one of the most groundbreaking I have done,
especially for the males that may hear this.

Meet Michael Atma, one of the coolest, most connected guys I have had
the privilege to meet. When I say connected, I don’t mean socially, I mean with the ‘out there’ or I guess you may say spiritually. It’s not often I meet men who are on the same plane of thought or awareness as I have had the privilege to discover, but Michael is certainly one of them.

Michael calls himself a freedom coach, he is also a bestselling author, created an amazing meditation app called the Meditation Dojo App, as well as highly experienced as a master and student in the Japanese martial art of Aikido, otherwise known as The Art of Peace. Michael truly is an ‘awoken’ man.

Join us as we discover what led Michael to discover that there was more
to his life than the everyday, how like me he never felt like he fitted into
his family and society, and how he went from a highly successful career in his 20s, living a first-class lifestyle, to losing everything and living on the streets. At that time, not surprisingly, debilitating stress and anxiety was ruling Michael’s life and he says, he didn’t share what he was going through with his family or closest friends, because it was a masculine, pride thing to talk about ‘emotions’.

Not only did Michael share, he was happy to share from what many would term as ‘vulnerability’. However, vulnerability as Michael explains is not a dirty word – it is actually an empowering one.

Episode 8 - Jessica Lee - The Invisible Illness

Episode 8 - Jessica Lee - The Invisible Illness

As always, I am so delighted to share my latest episode of The Untangling podcast. Jessica Lee is a delightful soul, who I know
that the listeners will also find as endearing as I do. I met Jess some years back when we both attended a coaching program for public speaking.

Jess’ journey up to and following that meeting, is one that I know many people out there will relate to. Growing up academically-minded and also being a high-achiever, Jess was on her path to fulfilling her life goal of working in the corporate world. She had just landed her dream job with the government in Canberra, when her life changed forever, in a way she had never envisaged. Jess found herself becoming very unwell and what started out as a bout of glandular fever, progressed to her being diagnosed with CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome.

As Jess shares with us, dealing with chronic fatigue was life-changing for her, altering the trajectory of the life she had envisaged to one of success in her career to some days being unable to get out of bed or even walk. She shares with me her struggles, not only with her health, but with the attitudes and judgement of others of her, dealing with this invisible illness. The chronic fatigue also brought along with it another uninvited and unwelcome guest for Jess, crippling high anxiety that she had never experienced before.

Through the process of seeking help for both her physical and mental health, Jess was lucky to meet a health professional who helped her understand the role of our brains in illness, and also wellness. This sparked something in Jess and became another avenue for her learning, in trying to heal herself. Jess also wanted to share what she had learned with others, in the hopes that it might bring them some healing. She has done this by her writing many articles for publications such as Wellbeing magazine and has also been great research for her upcoming book. Jess has been so vulnerable with me and I am so proud of her bravery and generosity in speaking with me about her journey.

Regardless of who we are, we all have these common threads that bind us together. This is Jess’ story.

Episode 7 - Ann - the Gift of Giving

Episode 7 - Ann - the Gift of Giving

Welcome to the next episode in my series The Untangling podcast.

I have to say, that what amazes me time and time again, is when I speak to people who have gone through unimaginable challenges or trauma, and when they come out the other side the first thing they think about is how can I help others going through what I’ve gone through? Ann Macdonald is one of those very special people. Ann is one of the most vivacious and captivating people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. A sweet, kind soul who has overcome so much and has a heart so full of love, despite what she has experienced in her life.

Ann and I crossed paths some years back, I’m still not 100% sure how or where but that is irrelevant, because the fact that we did allowed Ann to experience some life-changing experiences, not only with her personal/emotional situation, but also her long-term debilitating chronic health conditions, culminating in so many symptoms and finally getting diagnosed with a condition called FND (functional neurological disorder).

It is hard not to get swept up in Ann’s enthusiasm and her belief in how we can all play a part in our own healing, through understanding how our minds work, and also taking responsibility for ourselves. We talk about a range of topics from domestic abuse, chronic illness and also mental health conditions.

I am proud to call Ann a special and very dear friend of mine and encourage anyone who listens to this and feels drawn to connect with Ann to help them walk through their own personal health journey to do so. What better person to support you than someone who can understand what you are experiencing.

I am so beyond delighted to share Ann’s story.
