Jess and I discuss the progress made in breaking the stigmas surrounding mental health and what can still be done. Jess also shares much of her journey as it relates to her mental health. Both Jess and I have benefited greatly from therapy. If you have felt like you need to take that step, but haven't yet, may this be the final push you need.

This is an interview I had with Dan White Jr over the summer. You may have heard an abbreviated version then, but this is the full-length version that was originally saved for our Patreon members. In light of the recent events at the National Prayer Breakfast and our 2020 presidential election ramping up, I thought revisiting this conversation was important. Dan is the author of Love Over Fear: Facing Monsters, Befriending Enemies, and Healing Our Polarized World. You can purchase the book and check out other materials related to the book at LoveOverFearProject.com.

It's just me today. I recently went and saw Just Mercy, the story of Bryan Stevenson and the Equal Justice Initiative. It was awesome! So I talk a little bit about the movie, the death penalty, and then I get into why I have grown to hold a view of nonviolence. It's not something I have always held to, but it is something I hold to now. I would go so far as to say it's obvious to me now. But there is certainly grace for those who disagree. Give a listen and tell me why I'm wrong! We'll fight about it.
