Keeping it real

I really enjoy this podcast. The guests are always super interesting and the 2 hosts bounce off each other very well (they are both very different personalities). I have read other comments about them talking over each other. But this is exactly what my family and friends do when we get together. So for me it just makes it feel more real. I also think the humour during horrendous times is what makes us human (and sometimes it’s the only thing that gets us through). I have also kept relaying back to my kids don’t pick up the drugs!!! My number one take home message from this podcast.

Audio sound quality

At times, funny and inspiring. Unfortunately the audio quality is poor, made worse by the girls talking over one another. I found the episode about a 17 year old girl who lost her feet and hands genuinely interesting and a great lesson in overcoming challenges. Please don’t diminish such courage and resilience by assuming that her biggest worry after becoming an amputee would be her ability to attract a boyfriend. I thought we’d moved past that.
