Paul’s passion for gospel ministry


1) He serves the church with the Word of God

A servant who brings the Word of God

A Word that is all about the mystery revealed in Christ

A service that entails suffering

2) He works hard to present everyone mature in Christ

Paul labours, toils and strives to make Christ known

All ministry is hard work

But we do it with the strength Christ gives

3) He wants to see Christ formed in others

Paul wrestles in prayer for Christians:

To be encouraged in heart

To be united in love

So they might really know Christ

And be equipped to resist false teaching
