Yes, the second trauma can be far worse.

This was a brilliant podcast. Loved “brushing it under the rug” reference.

My daughter was the victim of a family abuser and of course when her story finally came out and the abuser was arrested more than half our family blamed her and cut us both out of their lives. Two years to the trial and this trauma which has effected us all, has been harrowing.

Your podcast was very beneficial.
