S4. Case 5: The Mystery of Willow Creek

Alaskan huntsman Fred and his cousin and uncle are trapped in a cabin in the Alaskan wilderness, seemingly surrounded by terrifying creatures, resembling the local folk stories about Bigfoot or “the Hairy Man”. Can they escape with their lives?
Also, Danny ventures to Humboldt County, site of some of America’s most famous alleged Bigfoot sightings, to talk to resident Native Americans about their ancient beliefs in these creatures and their own experiences. Is this a great American myth or could there really be a secret, undetected species living in the USA?

S4. Case 4: The Hairy Man

Tribal elder Fred and his cousin and uncle are travelling through the Alaskan wilderness when they are surrounded in their cabin by terrifying creatures resembling the “Hairy Man” legend they were always warned about as kids.

Lisa and her young family build their dream home in rural Missouri. Before they’ve even unpacked, strange events begin. Lights switch themselves on each night, footsteps echo around empty rooms, objects move by themselves.

    S4. Case 2: Dad's Phone

    S4. Case 2: Dad's Phone

Wendy’s father Harry was a British Spitfire pilot during World War II who moved to Texas to work in espionage. When he becomes ill with cancer, he promises Wendy that if there is life after death, he will reach out to her. This isn’t that comforting, their relationship has always been difficult - Harry used many of the espionage techniques he was schooled in to control and monitor Wendy, like a real-life version of Robert De Niro’s character in Meet the Parents.
When Harry dies, Wendy moves into his house in Austin and then… her Dad’s phone begins to ring by itself. It's disconnected, what's happening is impossible, so is this Harry reaching out? And what will it take to make him let go?

    S4. Case 1: The Flood

Marcus loves visiting his eccentric Aunt Jean, the black sheep of a very religious family. She runs a witch shop in New Orleans, selling spells, candles and Ouija boards. When Aunt Jean tragically dies in Hurricane Katrina, drowned in the basement of her own flat, her possessions end up at Marcus’s granddad’s house in South Georgia.
One night Marcus and his cousin dig them out and find her prized Ouija board. What will happen if they try to make contact with her? The answer, it turns out, is that all hell breaks loose.
Danny heads to Georgia to meet Marcus and hears about the most terrifying night of his life.

Fantastic podcast, but..

It’s safe to say Uncanny is back.. yahoo! 🙏 I can already tell from the first episode that this is going to be a great season. Marcus was very compelling and interesting. I cannot wait to see what is next in store! Accordingly, I have changed my rating back to 5 stars.

Disappointed

I hate to say this but agree with a few other reviewers that season 3 so far disappointing. This was literally my favourite podcast love Danny, experts are ok most of the time although the sceptics are clutching at straws at times 😀the stories are fantastic in season 1 and 2, I couldn’t wait for season 3 and so far not impressed, I’m in Australia so couldn’t watch the TV show and was hanging waiting for new episodes but instead we got repeated stories. Sorry Danny love your work, but can you go back to original format please 😉
