- Society & Culture
"Voices" is the first production of Free Yourself Global, the first global and cross-cultural domestic violence campaign. This series brings together all of the voices of the participants of domestic violence, including recovering abusers, victims, children, educators, support agencies and health professionals, law enforcement agencies, policy-makers, celebrities and social entrepreneurs who work to aid in this cause. It is the aim that "Voices" encourages people to open up and share their stories so we can get the heart of what is it that will empower us, whatever our role in domestic violence to interrupt the cycle of violence that often perpetuates through families for generations. We acknowledge that abuse in families affects men, women, children and the elderly, all over the world. We hope this series will provide an important source of primary research to assist policy-makers and individuals to end domestic violence.
