On the back of the Dean Ritchie article, the boys start by discussing the Positive and Negatives between seasons 2023 and 2024.

Eddie takes us through his favourite game with a segment of Buy, Sell and Hold, topics include Stefano's contract negotiations, a team in Perth and the controversy surrounding last weekend's loss to the Bulldogs.

There is a preview to the Wests Tigers last ever home game in Tamworth, can the Tigers get a win and where are the weaknesses in the lineup Benji Marshall named for the clash against the Newcastle Knights.

Yioti's quiz again rounds out the show with the added segment of Eddie's quiz.

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0324

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0324

A tale of two halves - the Wests Tigers have given up an eight-point lead to lose to the Bulldogs at Accor Stadium.

The 22-14 loss marks the club's fifth straight loss and the promising start to the season is starting to look less like it was the turning point we had all hoped for.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Joel Helmes is joined by Steve Stretton, Declan McCutcheon, and Eddie Otto to analyze what went wrong.

We start with some great one-word submissions from the Wests Tigers Podcast Facebook page, and the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.

Some of the key points point under the microscope by the boys include:

Leadership - the performance of our captain, Bateman
    Improved game (generally) from Bula
    How we missed Korisau
The lack of impact from Twal and Seyfarth
And we ask, what's wrong with Isaiah?

While there is also a look at the latest, frankly quite sad, comments from the club's former chairman, Lee Hagipantelis.

And Steve has details on the next Ambush event coming up this weekend at Wests Ashfield.

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0323

This episode of the Wests Tigers Podcast starts with a special public service announcement with Eddie Otto clearing the air and issuing a public apology to a member of the Wests Tigers Podcast family.

Eddie, Declan and Garry then discuss the potential makeup of the Wests Tigers starting side in the year 2027, where will Latu Fainu and Lachlan Galvin fit in, and which other players can make the step up in the next 3 years?

A fan favourite then returns, with Eddie takes the boys through a game of Buy, Sell, Hold.

Attention then turns to Saturday's clash with the Bulldogs with an indepth preview of the key match ups heading into Round 9.

Finally, Yioti once again challenges the team knowledge in Yioti's Quiz, can Eddie avoid the ire of the quizmaster in this week's episode.

Thank you for joining us as the team discuss everything Wests Tigers.

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0322

Another big game at Campbelltown Stadium before a packed house, unfortunately the same result.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast we take a good look at Saturday night's game against the Broncos.

We finished on the wrong side of the scoreboard, but were there any positives? We also take a look at some of the ongoing issues we seem to have with the Wests Tigers 2024 squad.

And there are heaps of one word submissions from members of the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.

Joel Helmes is in the driver's seat for this pod, joined by Garry Watson and Eddie Otto.

Speaking of Eddie, standby for a rant on a player that seems to have plateaued in recent times.

The boys also talk about the signing of Penrith flyer, Sunia Turuva late last week. What the Fijian winger bring to the team in 2025 and beyond and why we should be excited by his arrival.

There's also a look at rumours the Wests Tigers will be audited by the NRL, and what the four year contract for CEO Shane Richardson means for the future of the club.

It's another jam packed edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, enjoy!

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0321

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0321

The Wests Tigers Podcast is back for another big mid-week edition with Eddie Otto and Steve Stretton.

This show is tinged with a little sadness, the boys pay tribute to one of the founding members of the Wests Tigers family - Terry Hill.

Wests Tiger number 4, Hill passed away yesterday, ironically in the same week that the Tigers wear our heritage Year 2000 jersey to commemorate the first-ever Wests Tigers game.

Once again it's the Broncos at Campbelltown, and just like that game in 2000, the Tigers will start as outsiders against a more highly-fancied Brisbane team.

Steve and Eddie take a look at where we have to be better in this game if we're going to get the points.

There's also a look at some of the positional changes made by Benji Marshall for the match.

The two school teachers also give their quarter-year report cards on six key Wests Tigers players based on their performances so far this year.

Who gets a pass, who needs to hit the books...find out by hitting play!

And don't miss another edition of Yioti's Quiz.

    Wests Tigers Podcast 0320

The Wests Tigers were better, but ultimately couldn't quite get the job done against the Panthers on Saturday afternoon.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast things are a little different.

Firstly, it's back to the old line-up, just Joel Helmes and Eddie Otto.

Secondly, there's a fantastic segment in the pod where we hear from the good people who joined us for the coach trip to Bathurst.

So, there's plenty of one-word submissions to consider, and lots of commentary around what was good, and what was not so good in that performance against Penrith.

Some of the key points covered by Joel and Eddie include:

The performance of the Wests Tigers wingers
The effectiveness of the Wests Tigers' starting backrowers
The young Wests Tigers players that look to have big futures

We hope you enjoy this post-game edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, the mid-week pod for this weekend's match against the Broncos will be along soon too.

Very good & balanced opinion

As a massive long term suffering supporter of the ol Magpies & Wests Tigers it is still my no1 passion
So it’s nice to hear you boys tryin to get by like myself with one of the worst sports team on earth
In saying that it will & does make the short term highs feel way better than supporting the top teams that just win all the time
Keep it up fellas
Very enjoyable
Cheers
Graham
