Dan Fraser and Jermayn Parker join together talking all the latest Phantom comics and news from around the world. Joined by Mikael Lyck who reviews the latest Fantomen comics. Along with the latest Frew comics we pitch an idea of a new comic series along with a creator team we would like to see take the series. We would love to hear your opinion of the pitch. #221 - Online Phundraiser Studio Session
Three young bucks, artists Jamie Johnson, Daniel Picciotto and Camillo Di Pietrantonio banded together in an 'online studio session' to raise funds for Unicef. This came on the back of several other artists who have done similar phundraising. You can learn about the phundraiser (fundraiser) campaign Chronicle Chamber have been involved with on X-Band: The Phantom Podcast #214A. All three artists have credits for Frew, Ninja Turtles plus much more and have a healthy rival at Supanova and Comic Con conventions with their sketch offs and have agreed to do another with us hosting it with a Phantom theme. This podcast is the recording from the special night. We would suggest you watch this on YouTube and while it is 2.5 hours long, you do not often get to watch not one, or two but three talented artists drawing and talking the Phantom. We want your feedback on what we discuss during the session. #219 - Regal Publishers & the new "Terror of the Python" TPB
Jermayn Parker is joined by Ankit Mitra as they talk to Pratheesh from Regal Publishers, the Indian publisher bringing back the Phantom with great success. We end the podcast talking and exploring the ground breaking "Terror of the Python" TPB featuring 250+ pages of the collected stories of the battle between Chatu and the Phantom and his family. We learn that Regal Publishers actually first published the Phantom back in the 1980's with reprints of the Avon novels, then comics in the 1990's. We touch upon the family generation of Regal which sees the company passing the mantle from father to sons. If you are an Indian comic reader, this is not a podcast to miss. We would love your feedback on the topics we discussed in this podcast. ☠️The ghost who walks☠️
X band Phantom podcast talks about the best comic on the market today. I was overjoyed when I found out that there was a podcast that focused on a fantastic topic. As time goes on I have learnt more and more in the phantoms expanded universe. The x band crew interview famous and nearly famous phantom people. My favourite episode was when they interviewed Shane Foley. I learnt heaps and got to know more about him. The efforts by The x band crew are very nice trying to expand the knowledge of poor unfortunate souls who cannot get the inside scoop. This podcast has helped re-enforce my knowledge and love of the phantom.
I now know that they also are behind Chronicle Chamber. A really well made informative phantom website.
Thanks for creating x band so that a phan can learn of the phantom. ☠️
PS, I just noticed in Kid Phantom number 5 page 31
Third panel, that X band has been written on a journalist’s notepad. Only X:BA is seen but when Paul Mason would have been drawing the full panel the whole title would have been visible.
The only phantom podcast out there.
Though it’s long, and sometimes rambling, I enjoy the discussions and the honest passion.
The addition of overseas publication discussions is great, really enjoying the passion from beyond our shores.
At times I take it out of rotation but it always finds its way back.
Makes me feel guilty I’ve become more a collector than a reader.
Phantom fan forever
Love listening to the lads talking about the PHANTOM bringing us great reviews and interviews with Phantom Legends from all over. Keep up the great work. Best Podcast ever.
