On January 1st, 2022, Kyndal dipped his feet in the Atlantic Ocean at Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and started his Walk Across America for mental health awareness and recovery. Over the course of 15 months, he walked 3,292 miles across 13 states, culminating his journey on April 12th, 2023, in Long Beach, Washington, marking his four-year drug-free anniversary.Now in San Luis Obispo, Kyndal shares his incredible story of resilience, transformation, and the ongoing journey that continues to inspire many. He talks about his past struggles with depression, addiction, and crime, and how he turned his life around during a five-year prison sentence.
