Hey! My name is Sade Fonseca, a Certified Health Coach and fellow mom of 1. I specialize in helping postpartum mothers to overcome anxiety and overwhelm so that they can feel vibrant and thrive in motherhood. I started this podcast to share more of my experiences as a mother on her own postpartum journey that has also faced many struggles. My faith in God has led me to view motherhood as a sacred calling from above and that I need to be my best self in order to honor my calling. I didn’t want to just barely survive as a mom, I want to thrive! I hope my stories can help another mom like me!

Mama, it’s okay if...
Sometimes as mothers, it’s hard for us to tell ourselves that “it’s okay” or to accept that everything doesn’t have to be exactly as planned. Things can happen, life happens and we’re not always gonna have a good day. In this episode, I’m just giving a little bit of encouragement to moms that feel like they can’t tell themselves that “it’s okay” ....but really it is

Breastfeeding Struggles
Breastfeeding is beautiful and it’s also hard! I just wanted to bring you some truths about my experience with breast-feeding and share how long I have been on this journey. It’s really not the easiest thing in the world... I touch on a little bit of education and knowledge that I think moms should have prior to even giving birth. There are things that you may face on your journey and it’s so important to prepare for those types of situations. No one wants to feel like they were just thrown out in the ocean with no idea of how to actually navigate breast-feeding.

The Truth About Becoming a Mother
The truth is sometimes before becoming a mother you don’t see the realities... a lot of times we see something like that of a fairy tale. They don’t depict the truth on tv shows very well. We always see everything but what we need to prepare for motherhood... I’m just getting real honest about it in this episode. This may be a trigger for some.. sorry in advance.

Faith in God Pulled Me Out of The Trenches
I did many things that helped me to overcome postpartum anxiety and depression... but my most powerful routine was prayer, devotion and having strong faith in God! I knew I would get better. He is really who helped me to come out of the trenches when I felt like I wasn’t gonna make it. God pulled me up on my feet and that’s what led me here to wanting to help more women get through this. I had a vision that this was my calling. In the moments when I was in the most pain and in the depths of darkness... my faith in God was a light at the end of the tunnel.
