A Podcast That Started as a Personal Project Now has a Growing Audience
The lack of language learning materials for his American husband prompted Kris Andres, host of Go Filipino: Let's Learn Tagalog, to begin a personal podcast in 2019. Armed with a cheap microphone, Kris used to record in his bedroom in Quezon City, with lessons focused on basic Tagalog structure and grammar. An unexpected growing number of audience and positive reviews from listeners worldwide inspired Kris to take a more serious approach to podcasting. Now, his show has Patreon patrons and followers that support his income.

Bringing a Taste of Philippines to California Streets
Asked to name your favorite cuisine, and several foreign choices may come to mind. In 2010, White Rabbit Truck's purpose was to get Filipino food to everyone's options. Their menu consists of Pinoy classics with a twist: Tocino Tacos, Sisig Burritos, Adobo Rice Bowls, etc. With offerings received fairly well by Californians, this food truck's success was not an easy road to drive on. Today we hear from their Events and Media Specialist, Maddie Razon, on how they managed to survive the bumps and humps along the way.
