In our society, men, in particular, have been programmed to close their hearts in favor of material goals, always having everything "under control," not showing emotions, and proving themselves to be "real men." When we don't feel safe enough in childhood to talk openly about our feelings, desires, and needs, this leads to an inner separation. The result is often a close attachment to anything but ourselves.

This podcast explores and talks about masculinity in today's world, the impact that the absence of healthy femininity has on it, and why we shouldn't run away from our own suffering.

E12: Ray Rolando I The Only Type of Happiness that Lasts Comes from Within

Ray and I enjoyed another conversation where we talked about what's been happening in the world lately and the different energies and emotions we've been feeling within ourselves.

We will be discussing specific topics in a future mini-series, "The Journey Back to Our Heart," but especially the first two episodes, including this one, will help you get a broader understanding of who Ray is, his background, and why the teachings and wisdom he shares can help you on your own journey back to your heart.

In this episode, we talk about loss and grief, karma, attachment and detachment, and why happiness can not be found in the outer world - at least not in the long run - but how happiness can be found within ourselves and how we can love ourselves in the process.

E9: Jeff Marquardt I "I was Homeless, Depressed & Suicidal" ADDICTION: A Pattern out of Control and How we can Break it

E9: Jeff Marquardt I "I was Homeless, Depressed & Suicidal" ADDICTION: A Pattern out of Control and How we can Break it

I met Jeff two weeks ago at the Creacon Wellness Retreat in Ireland, which was loved, hosted, and held by Ray and Colby Rolando. Already at the beginning, Jeff and I had a fascinating and profound conversation about feminine and masculine energy, the vicious cycle related to addiction clinics and addiction programs in our society, the different types of addiction that are different yet very much the same, and of course Jeff's personal story - which leads us to the continuation and release of today's podcast episode:

"If you want to get a pearl, you have to dive deep." Jeff was allowed to learn this in his life as well. In 2001, Jeff worked as a Front Desk Manager at a luxury boutique & spa hotel in Woodside, CA. Many seeds were already planted here because afterward, he completed his master's program in transpersonal psychology at Sophia University and CIIS, learning about Western psychology & Eastern spiritual traditions. Soon after that, life intervened as his addiction to alcohol resurfaced like a tremendous force of the perfect storm, "taking me into the depths of darkness that I did not know even existed."

In this podcast episode, Jeff shares how he managed to break free of his nearly 10-year alcohol addiction, the message his addiction was trying to send him, why the will to change must come from deep within ourselves, and the importance of approaching life from a place of love and connection instead of fear, and how we can make that happen.

E8: Martin Richtsfeld I The Handbook for Life: The Wisdom of Ancient Alchemy

E8: Martin Richtsfeld I The Handbook for Life: The Wisdom of Ancient Alchemy

Martin's gift to the world is to support and reconnect people with their own inner healer through the power of sound. As a gong master, he facilitates transformative sound and soul journeys and combines the wisdom of ancient alchemy in his work. Since 2017, he and his wife Marie have been sharing and continuously developing their knowledge and love for their sacred calling.

Today's episode will be interesting for you if you are in a phase of your life (again) that, from an ego perspective, is pulling the ground out from under your feet. "What is the Purpose of my life?" This is just one of many questions that play a significant role in this phase. Maybe you are afraid to make the wrong choice while living in it already. But what if it takes this particular period to step into our greatest power? What if divine timing or divine intervention is at play, and this perhaps "depressive" phase is needed for change?

At least, that is what Alchemy says. The knowledge passed down for thousands of years, and the ancient wisdom that Martin shares, lives by and believes is the foundation for everything and the handbook for life.

    - What is alchemy, and how can we apply it?

    - Why depressive phases are necessary for change to occur

    - How to overcome obstacles and break through self-imposed prisons

    - Learn more about Alchemy Masterclass, Akashic Creatorship Program

    and receive a free meditation
